Blog Series »Social Geographical Observations in the Covid 19 Crisis«

The current crisis has us on the edge of our seats. On an unprecedented scale, the Covid 19 crisis is hitting our social order and radically changing our daily lives. The measures to contain infections with the virus are proving to be a great social experiment. It is not easy to classify and understand the socio-political developments.

Our blogExternal link offers students and staff of geography the opportunity to provide food for thought in short contributions and to share literature recommendations and everyday observations. We welcome anyone who would like to contribute. Unfinished thoughts and open questions are also welcome. In a joint exchange, we can get through this crisis and also collectively seek socio-geographical explanations for what is happening.

Anyone who would like to participate can send a text proposal or an idea to simon.runkel@uni-jena.de
